Sensible move: IDG are shifting Macworld to avoid a clash with CES, scaling down the Expo to one Moscone Hall (North) and moving the conference to Moscone West, along with a Saturday Expo opening too.

I wouldn’t normally link this were it not for the fact that iPhoto 8.0.2 finally corrects the most glaringly-stupid flaw in iPhoto ‘09: you couldn’t previously link people’s faces with their Address Book entry.

The Nine Apps on my iPhone
I find myself becoming more and more fussy about the number of applications I keep on my iPhone - mostly because I don’t need 9 screens of mediocre apps. I simply keep the ones I actually use on the device, and keep a small pool of ‘notables’ within iTunes - hence my previous complaints about the App Store. So, without further ado: here’s a quick run-down of the (shipping)...

davebc: The iPhone ranks among the top five most popular cameras on Flickr. How long as it been this way? I know the iPhone shot up the cameraphone charts a while ago, but now it’s hanging with Canon and Nikon in terms of sheer quantity. Simply enter the following into the Terminal and hit return: defaults write com.iconfactory.Twitterrific tweetTextFilter -string...
