A fascinating look at the Nike+ system’s inception: the Nike+ option in the iPhone 3GS is one of the most tempting options in the device, in my opinion.

Google thought Michael Jackson traffic was attack →
No wonder Twitter struggled under the weight of Michael Jackson news. Google thought the queries were malicious, and Yahoo set a record too: [Yahoo’s] lead story on Jackson’s death was the most highly-visited story in its history.

The Art of Pixar: 100 Collectible Postcards →
I’ve been browsing Amazon for suitable Pixar wares after Mischa McLachlan posted a link to this awesome (though out-of-print) book and these postcards came up. It’s a shame these were printed in 2006 - and lack some of the more recent films - as the artwork to UP looks astounding.

MG Siegler hits the nail on the head with the App Store. The fact that the App Store approval process has continued to stumble and blunder its way forward has simply astounded me.

TechCrunch covers Shaun Inman's Fever →
I’ll admit that I’ve yet to move to Fever (and right now, I’m not sure I will) however the TechCrunch quote from Inman really struck a chord with me: The price for feed readers has bottomed out at free so anything more than that is going to turn certain people off. And I don’t mind the deterrent. Most products price to be inclusive, to make the most money possible. I designed...

iPhone 3GS JavaScript Performance Blows Away... →
Yes, it’s another hyperbolic TechCrunch post, but it’s hard to underplay the speed of the 3GS’ Javascript (people, take note: you’re allowed to use apostrophes after S in lieu of -es). The iPhone 3GS runs roughly 3x faster than the iPhone 3G running 3.0 (and 6 times faster than a 3G running OS 2.2.1). The iPhone 3GS remains 12 times slower than a MacBook, but it’s a...

Dave Chartier on Apple's iPhone 3G S Tour Guide
chartier: I love Nelson’s body language when showing off some of the iPhone 3G S features in Apple’s new Guided Tour. Take his VoiceOver demo that starts around the last half of minute 5. At 6:07, Nelson asks the iPhone: “What song is this?” But he moves and smirks as if to say “BOOYA PRE, ANDROID, BLACKBERRY, AND SYMBIDORK! WHAT YOU BITCHES GOT NAO?!”
