And so when Michael Arrington invited me down to Palo Alto to Techcrunch’s screening of the new Star Trek film, there was no way on earth I could refuse. I mean, imagine taking the lunatic freaks who comment on technology news sites, extracting the Star Trek nerds and cramming them all into a dark room for two hours with sugary snacks.
