    Yes, it’s another hyperbolic TechCrunch post, but it’s hard to underplay the speed of the 3GS’ Javascript (people, take note: you’re allowed to use apostrophes after S in lieu of -es). The iPhone 3GS runs roughly 3x faster than the iPhone 3G running 3.0 (and 6 times faster than a 3G running OS 2.2.1). The iPhone 3GS remains 12 times slower than a MacBook, but it’s a darn-sight faster than the Pre or G1.
